The End of an Era

Before Wright People HR came to life, we were running a logistics company that we started from the ground up, grew, and eventually sold. The secret to our success? Our people. We believed in hiring based on the right behaviours rather than just skills. We brought on board “magicians,” “jugglers,” and “gamblers”—people who could pull off the impossible, handle multiple tasks, and take calculated risks. And it worked. We became an Investors in People business, and one of only two logistics companies to be recognised as Investors in Excellence. We did a lot of great things and also made some mistakes along the way; wisdom from which our clients benefit.

With a deep passion for people and first hand experience of the gaps in HR Consultancy, we knew something had to change. That’s why we created Wright People HR. We started it based on a few core beliefs:

1. Success isn’t just about having the best people; it’s about having the right people.
2. The key to attracting, developing, and keeping the right people is crafting an exceptional employee experience based on your company’s culture
3. HR should be business driven, delivering commercial outcomes, rather than regurgitating a HR rule-book
